Asia is a land of contrasts, and no matter your taste, you will have a great time if you choose to vacation there. The country's beautiful landscapes, welcoming people, and great cuisine all help to create lasting memories. Here are five reasons why you should discover Asia.
The warm hospitality is one of the best things about a visit to Asia. Friendly waves, warm welcomes and wide smiles all await you there, and you will quickly become accustomed to the high level of service and hospitality. If you take the time to learn a few words of the locals' language, you might strike up a friendship and be invited to someone's home.
The sightseeing opportunities are second to none. Asia has more than thirty World Heritage sites; it definitely isn't running short on amazing landmarks. Peer up at the temples at Pagan, Borobodur and Angkor, fall in love with the quaint charm of towns like Luang Prabang, and marvel at the sheer size of Mt.Kinabalu. If you visit Asia, don't forget your camera- you'll definitely want to take plenty of pictures.
The beaches are also first-rate. Aside from Laos, which is landlocked, almost every Asian country has at least one stretch of gorgeous coastline. There are beautifully-appointed resorts in Bali and Phuket, as well as intimate hideaways in Vietnam and Cambodia. There are wonderful diving opportunities as well; dive among the wrecks in Northern Sulawesi, or if you're daring, swim with the sharks at Donsol.
It's fair to say that your money will go a lot further if you visit Asia. In the city, you can rent a room in a three-star hotel, and get great service by friendly, helpful locals. Even the most opulent resort is about half the price of a comparable place in Europe. There are a lot of reasons to discover Asia; visit there, and you will probably come up with a few of your own.
